Two late goals from Nico Paz and Joselu gave Real Madrid a 4-2 win over Napoli on Wednesday and secured the top spot in Champions League Group C with one game to go.

The 14-time champions, who have already secured a place in the round of 16, maintain their 100 percent record and have 15 points from five games, eight points ahead of the Italian champions.

Napoli, second with seven points, need a draw in their last game against Braga, third with four points, to advance to the round of 16. Union Berlin are two points behind after Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Braga.

Real started well but were surprised by a quick counter-attack from the visitors, and Giovanni Di Lorenzo helped Giovanni Simeone open the scoring in the ninth minute with a shot from close range that at first glance appeared to have been parried by goalkeeper Andrij Lunin.

The referee gave up when the goal line technology confirmed that the ball had slightly crossed the goal line. Real's responded promptly and two minutes later Rodrygo equalized with a beautiful shot into the top corner.

And in the 22nd minute, Jude Bellingham headed the goal. This is Bellingham's 15th goal in 16 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions this season.

This makes him the first player in the club's history to score a goal in each of his first four European games.
